Chris Tomlinson is a journalist, author and filmmaker in Austin, Texas. He is currently a columnist for the Houston Chronicle and was previously the Supervisory Correspondent for The Associated Press in Austin from 2011-2014, where he was responsible for political and state government reporting from the state. He is also a Fellow in Journalism at the Robert Strauss Center for International Security and Law. He has lectured at the LBJ School for Public Affairs and the Department of Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin.
